Dr. Tatiana Nedecheva is a psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Nedecheva provides psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults. She also provides psychological assessment services to children and adolescents.

Professional Biography

Dr. Nedecheva received her M. A. and Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology (Child Track) from the University of Windsor, in Windsor, Ontario, a doctoral program accredited both by the Canadian Psychological Association and American Psychological Association. She received a B. A. in Psychology from McGill University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Eastern Health in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Throughout her training, Dr. Nedecheva acquired expertise in psychological assessment and treatment of children and youth with a variety of mental health conditions. Thus, she had the opportunity to develop a strong generalist skill base that allows her to flexibly tailor her services to effectively respond to clients’ needs.

Dr. Nedecheva moved to the nation’s capital in June 2016 after working as a psychologist in Nova Scotia for 3 years. During her training and thus far in her career, she worked in hospital-based outpatient mental health clinics, partial hospitalization programs, and schools with children and youth. Additionally, she provided services to young adults in a university counseling centre. Since moving to Ottawa, she has worked in several mental health programs at CHEO. Currently, in addition to private practice, she works at the CHEO Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
